THE VENERABLE BEADS
SUMMARY
Spring 1995—Ready to gig but without a bass player, Pete suggested that I look up his bud Sean, who also lived in NYC. I took a cab uptown, he and I played through some songs, and we were now a trio.
Though my modest talents as a performer were stretched thin as both lead singer and lead guitarist, playing live with Pete and Sean was a blast. I really appreciate the time and energy they brought. Though I was the songwriter, the sound we made was a true collaboration, and I think we held our own amidst the other bands in the area.
